Kirk Douglas - The Ragman's Son
This an an autobiography and one of my favorites.
I read this in 2010 when I had nothing, and had a lot of time. I find it very inspiring as Kirk Douglas came from nothing, then becoming successful yet remaining humble, down to earth, grounded, etc. his whole life. He was as real as they come I would say. His father was a 'ragman', he had a cart and would go around collecting junk in the streets to make a living. The fact he came from nothing, doing really well in life and staying real the whole time really inspires and fascinates me!
RIP!
